Allen FB team Pink Out
The NFL has been promoting breast cancer awareness with additions to its uniforms and this weekend, a fifth-grade Allen football team will do the same.
The Warriors are holding their third annual Pink Out Saturday.
There will be a cookout to celebrate the event Friday night and the team parents have purchased pink socks as well as athletic tape for the cleats of all the Warriors heading into Saturday's game. Some players will even be wearing pink gloves, cleats, towels, mouth pieces and chin straps.
The team is attempting to raise awareness and money for breast cancer research.
