Tickets are on sale now for Rufus Wainwright at 8 p.m. Oct. 14 at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, 2301 Flora St. in Dallas.
The one-night-only concert is part of the Texas leg of his 2012 tour, which includes a stop at Austin City Limits. Enjoy one of the greatest male vocalists and songwriters of his generation, Rufus Wainwright, live at the Meyerson.
Referred to by Elton John as "the greatest songwriter on the planet" and praised by The New York Times for his "genuine originality," Wainwright retains his distinctive narrative sense and wry wit while adding classic pop pleasures.
On a 17-city tour to promote his latest album Out of the Game, released in April 2012, Wainwright is an American-Canadian singer-songwriter and composer. He has recorded seven albums of original music and numerous tracks on compilations and film soundtracks. He has also written a classical opera and set Shakespeare sonnets to music.
Current ticket prices start at $29.
