Texas Retired Teachers fight for Pension

Texas Teachers and Retired Teachers are worried about the attack on the Teacher Retirement System. The promise of retirement was promised to Texas teachers. On Wednesday, October 24, 2012, at 10:00, Tim Lee, Director of TRTA will speak to the Mesquite Association of Retired School Employees at 2600 Motley Drive, Mesquite, Texas at the Professional Development Center. He will address the good condition of our current TRS Defined Benefit program and educate us on the threats to our pension and our health insurance. We welcome those interested.
