11-5A FOOTBALL STANDINGS
Quick look: Rowlett and Sachse will meet on Friday in a game that could be critical down the road. With Lakeview upsetting the Mustangs last week and emerging as a playoff contender, it is shaping up to be a five-team race.
South Garland is tied with Garland for the top spot and must take on a Patriot team flying high after pulling off the win over Sachse last week. The Colonels can assume sole possession of first place with a victory with Garland having the bye week.
North Garland and Naaman Forest will meet on Thursday and the loser of that game will have a very tough road if it hopes to make the playoffs.
