Legacy Christian Eagles Down McKinney Christian

Legacy Christian Academy used the combination of a stout defense and big plays to overcome McKinney Christian Academy 17-10 Friday night. Currently ranked third in TAPPS Division III, the Eagles scored on a 63 yard screen pass to Ovie Urevbu in the fourth quarter to pull ahead for good. Up to that point defense was the name of the game for both teams as both had struggled to a 10-10 deadlock.
The game opened with a big play, though, by MCA’s Caleb Wysong who took the opening kickoff back 66 yards for a touchdown.
