Modern dance to take center stage at MCL Grand

Simple Sparrow Dance Company will present two performances of modern interpretive dance Oct. 26-27 in the Black Box at Medical Center of Lewisville Grand Theater, 100 N. Charles St. in historic Old Town Lewisville.
Show times are 7:30 p.m. both days. Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $12 for students and seniors, and will be available at the door.
Simple Sparrow is a modern dance company that provides dancers in Denton County and the rest of North Texas with an opportunity to perform and present new works. The company makes modern dance accessible for all audiences by merging the performance intent of postmodernism with the athleticism and solid technique of its classically trained dancers.
To reach the MCL Grand from Interstate 35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. MCL Grand will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Church streets, or at Lewisville City Hall across Church Street from the center. Parking is not allowed on the grass lot across Church Street from MCL Grand.
