Stonebrook Parkway reduced to one lane between Parkwood and Preston on Oct. 24
Staff report
The eastbound portion of Stonebrook Parkway will be reduced to one lane between Parkwood Boulevard and Preston Road starting Wednesday, Oct. 24. In preparation for Phase 2 of the Stonebrook Parkway Improvement Project, the south side of the road is being restriped to accommodate two-way traffic and another traffic switch will be announced for next week. Eastbound traffic will now be continuously limited to one lane for about a year as the other phases of the project are being constructed. Eastbound motorists should expect delays on Stonebrook Parkway between Parkwood Boulevard and Preston Road, especially during the morning and afternoon peak periods.
Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction zone and to choose an alternate route in advance. Alternate eastbound routes between Parkwood Boulevard and Preston Road are Main Street, Wade Boulevard, and Lebanon Road.
