Flower Mound police investigate murder

The Flower Mound Police Department responded to a call regarding possible gun shots at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of Flower Mound Road.
Officers located a black male in his 50s who had what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the head.
He was found sitting in the driver's seat in a white four-door car in a parking lot. The victim was taken by CareFlite to Methodist Hospital in Dallas in critical condition, and he died Wednesday morning. The victim's identity has not been released.
The police department is asking anyone with information to call police at 972-539-0525 or the anonymous crime tip line at 972-874-3307.
