Lovejoy's Dane Fuentes commits to play basbeall in Dallas
Lovejoy senior Dane Fuentes has assured his baseball career will extend past the high school diamond after committing to the University of Dallas.
A longtime staple in the Lovejoy system, Fuentes helped pitch and man the outfield for the Leopards last season -- a campaign that ended in the team's fourth consecutive playoff berth.
Fuentes will be a vital cog in upping that figure to five in 2013 as one of 13 returners for Lovejoy. Academically, Fuentes boasts a 3.79 GPA en route to committing to the four-year private university based in Irving.
