Patrick Sellers passed unexpectedly and quietly Wednesday, January 16, at home in The Woodlands.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Tamatha; 12-year-old son, William Cade Sellers; parents Terry and Euleta Sellers; sister Sharon Sellers; niece Katrina Flores; and nephew Bryce Flores.It is a great loss to all who knew him. Most who knew Patrick experienced his quick wit, and no one was exempt. Patrick had a knack for relating to people, frequently with very good impersonations.
Patrick achieved his goals not only as a business professional, but also as an airborne soldier for more than seven years and achieved the rank of staff sergeant. His first achievement was earning his jump wings at Fort Bennings, Georgia. He was proud of his assignment to Special Forces, where he worked with 7th group as an intelligence analyst. He completed his service working in the Counter Terrorism Unit at the National Security Agency.
Patrick was proud of his service in the US Army, achieving his Airborne Wings, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Joint Services Achievement Medal, German Armed Forces Badge for Military Proficiency, Non Commissioned Officers Development Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, and the Army Service Medal.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Sunday, January 20, 2013, in the Chapel at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384. Burial followed in Forest Park The Woodlands Cemetery. Visitation was held from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m., Saturday, January 19, 2013, at the funeral home.
