Wrestling: District 4-5A Tournament Friday

Carroll's wrestling team got a sneak peak at what they will be up against at Friday's District 4-5A Tournament (at Keller Central) last week as the squad took first at the 4-5A Dual team Championships at Northwest.
The duals were run in conjunction with the NW Jam Dual, which featured other Metroplex teams as well as out-of-towners (including some from Arkansas and Louisiana) for a pair of matches following the district portion.
In all, Carroll racked up seven wins in seven matches against district foes and two wins against other opponents.
With the sweep, the squad has now gone a combined 29-2 in its last four district duals.
The Dragons picked up wins over Richland (72-9), Haltom (71-12), Northwest (48-21), Timber Creek (67-6), Fossil Ridge (66-18), Keller Central (51-18) and Keller (67-9) from the district, as well as defeating Houston Westside (39-34) and Grapevine (62-16).
