GRACY

Services for Rex Gracy, 90, of Weston, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2013, at the Weston First Baptist Church.
Rev. Allen Strickland will officiate. Burial will follow at the Cottage Hill Cemetery in Celina, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013, at the Weston First Baptist Church.
Mr. Gracy passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013, at his residence in Weston. He was born September 28, 1922, in Weston, Texas, to Albert and Lorina Brown Gracy. He married Charlsie Norris on November 21, 1953, in Sherman, Texas.
Mr. Gracy served in the United States Army during WWII. He worked for the Lone Star Gas Company for 29 years and owned and operated the Gracy Country Restaurant for seven years. He was a member of the Weston First Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for 34 years. He also served as a volunteer for the Weston Fire Department for many years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Charlsie Gracy of Weston; son, Jimmy Gracy of Sherman; son, Tom Gracy and his wife Wendi of Weston; daughter, Beverly Roberts and her husband Doug of Willis, Texas; brother, John Gracy and his wife Aarona of Dallas, Texas; sister, Edna Crosswhite of Rhome, Texas; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, six brothers and one sister.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Weston First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 150, Weston, Texas 75097.
The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors who took such great care of Mr. Gracy the last few months.
