Fred Huddleston
Fred Huddleston, 86, of Lewisville, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2013, in Coppell.
He was born October 9, 1926, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Fred C. Huddleston Jr. and Margaret Dickson Huddleston.
Fred served in the United States Navy during the last years of World War II. He was a graduate of the University of Texas with honors in 1950 and SMU in 1958 with bachelor's degrees in business administration.
Fred married Doris Travelstead on January 26, 1952, in Lewisville and they are longtime members of First Baptist Church of Lewisville. He worked as a CPA and government contract auditor.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; son, Michael Wallace Huddleston and wife, Teresa; grandsons, Michael Frederick Huddleston and Samuel Wallace Huddleston; brother, William Thomas "Butch" Huddleston and his wife, Gloria; niece, Tracy Barnes and husband, Roger and nephews, Brandon and Bryson Barnes.
Fred was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Dupree.
A service to celebrate Fred's life will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2013, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville, with interment following at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville. The family received friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
