Horn might have been the underdog on Friday against Berkner but it was right where it needed to be at halftime.

The Jaguars were within 27-24 and it was anybody's game.

That was before the Rams ripped off a 31-8 run in the third quarter on their way to a 81-54 victory in a Class 5A area round playoff game at Naaman Forest High School.

Berkner (30-5) advances to the regional quarterfinals to face district mate Jesuit, while Horn finishes the season with a 17-15 record.

Behind 21 points from Anthony Sharp, 12 by Zach Charles and 11 from Alan Hodge, the Jaguars fought back from an early deficit to close the gap to three heading into halftime.

But Berkner stole the show from there. Soma Edo had 19 points and Keenan Evans added 14 as that duo helped turn a tight game into a 58-32 lead.

Horn tried to crank up the offense in the fourth with 22 points, but the Rams matched them step for step as they cruised to the win.
