A vintage turquoise GE range with original broiler pan will be offered in a silent auction by the North Collin County Habitat for Humanity ReStore. The circa 1950's stove has its original turquoise enamel paint and the four burners are operated by push buttons. This is a rare find and will make a kitchen a conversation-starter.
Bidding begins at $300 and will continue in $25 increments. The auction opens at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 16, and will end at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at the ReStore Spring Bling celebration.
The store is located at 2060 Couch Drive, McKinney, and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Open to the public, ReStore sells new and gently used building and construction materials, furniture, home decor, paint, lighting, plumbingand more at 20-50 percent off regular retail. Donations are accepted and free pick-up is available.
