Parental Alienation Awareness Organization USA North Texas Chapter, 2012 "Civic Group of the Year" finalist, formally recognized for "improving the lives of others in the community" holds monthly meetings which are sponsored by the City of Southlake Public Library.
Our meetings provide awareness, education and understanding to the public and professionals regarding parental alienation.
The "action committee" portion of the meeting is 6:00-7:00pm. This portion of the meeting is for anyone interested in creating and participating in local awareness and education activities and projects. Parental alienation can happen to anyone, so it should matter to everyone. Help us make a difference.
The "support group" portion of the meeting is 7:00-8:00. Families and friends that have been affected by parental alienation are able to share in an atmosphere of understanding. If your family is dealing with parental alienation, you're not alone!
Anyone is welcome to attend either or both portions of the meeting.
We will have several drawings at this meeting to give away parental alienation related books that are helpful to families and professionals.
This is a DO NOT MISS meeting! There will be a formerly alienated young adult in attendance at this meeting. She is a most remarkable young lady who was completely alienated from her mother during all of her teenage years. At the age of 13, she was forced to end her relationship with her mom. At the age of 19, she courageously reunited with her mom. Her mom will be flying here from out of state to join us for this very special meeting. Also in attendance will be "The Opener," a very special friend who played an essential part in the reunification of this young lady and her mom! Come hear this remarkable story of true knowledge, wisdom, inspiration, encouragement and hope.
